Beat Schaufelberger, Systems Engineer Director and Product Sales Specialist, Cisco

Beat Schaufelberger is Systems Engineer Director and Leader of the newly formed Product Sales Specialist Team for Switzerland & Austria at Cisco.

He leads the technical sales support team working on the enterprise, commercial and service provider markets and he is also in charge of the technical readiness of Cisco’s Sales Partners. In addition, he also leads a team of highly specialized Sales People focussed on new advanced Technologies in the area of Datacenter, Unified Communication & Security.

After his technical education in Electronics, he joined a System Integrator in Switzerland in 1991. He was involved in designing, installing and supporting innovative Enterprise networks.

After 2 years working at an Application System Integrator, he joined Cisco in 1995, initially as a Systems Engineer and then as a Consulting System Engineer focussing on Security & Remote Access Networks. During this time, he was involved in designing some of the biggest IP Networks in Switzerland.

Since 1999, Beat Schaufelberger has had several managerial roles within Cisco and got promoted to Director Systems Engineering in 2002. He has lead several technical Teams across Europe & Emerging Markets, and he has developed a team of high qualified professionals in the designing and development of IP network infrastructures of both enterprise and service provider customers.
