Maurizio Tondi Italtel S.p.a., CTO Multimedia Products & Solutions

Maurizio Tondi, director of IP networking at Italtel S.p.A., joined the company in 2003 as marketing director of the network and services business unit, focusing on network security and IT systems for service providers.

Starting his career in the IBM environment in 1982 as a software programmer, Tondi then worked at Olivetti for more than ten years dealing with marketing and sales support activities at both the domestic and international levels for personal computers, networks, systems and services. From 1997 to 1999 Tondi worked at Elsag as marketing specialist for ICT services, at a time when the company was moving towards ICT operations.

Before joining Italtel he worked at Getronics where he was responsible for the business unit dedicated to mission critical infrastructure for both services providers and large enterprises, from networks to storage and security solutions and services.
